Music and Performing Arts
Music
At Lara Lake Primary School, our Music program inspires students to develop a lifelong appreciation of music through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Our students have access to two fully equipped Music rooms, providing a rich learning environment with a wide range of instruments and resources.
Students from Prep to Year 6 participate in specialist Music lessons where they explore the elements of music, including rhythm, beat, melody, pitch, tempo, dynamics and expression. Through singing, playing instruments, listening, creating and performing, students build confidence, creativity and teamwork while developing their musical skills.
Our Music program encourages every child to participate, express themselves and experience the joy of making music in a supportive and inclusive environment.
