Prep Enrolments

Your child must be 5 years old by 30 April in the year that they start school. Schooling is compulsory for children who have turned 6 years old.

The Prep Information Tour was held in May 2026. If you wish a tour of the school these are held on the first Friday of each month excluding January, February and December and subject to staff availability. Please contact the office to book on 5282 1261 or email lara.lake.ps@education.vic.gov.au.

What you need to do:

Please submit the student enrolment from Monday 20th April, 2026 and before Friday 31st July, 2026.

Late applications may still be handed in. The Orientation program is due to commence in October.

Tuesday 8th December Statewide Transition Day

All Prep 2027 students meet the teacher for their final transition day. 9.30am - 10.45am. Students will meet the teacher in their 2027 classroom whilst parents are invited to attend an information session during this time. Location to be advised at a later date.
