Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th January are both Curriculum Days. Students return to school for day one on Thursday 30th Jan. This information is on the Compass calendar.

2020 term dates

Term 1 Teachers - 28 January. Students start 29 January in government schools.
Lara Lake PS is having a curriculum day 28th and 29th January, therefore students will commence Thursday 30th January, 2020.  		 27 March
Term 2 14 April 26 June
Term 3 13 July 18 September
Term 4 5 October 18 December

School Cleaning Contract

Tender submissions are invited from approved contractors to provide cleaning services for Lara Lake Primary School, 89 Forest Road, LARA, VIC, 3212 from January 20, 2020. 

Cleaning Contractors applying for tender must have DET Panel Status approval, Public Liability Insurance not less than 10mil, and staff must hold valid Working with Children's Check.

Contractors are required to register to attend a school site inspection to be conducted 10am on Thursday November 14, 2019.
Contract documents will be provided on request and will be available at the Site inspection meeting.

Completed order forms need to be given to us by Monday 25th November.
Orders should be ready for pick up from Lara Lake PS by 15th of December, just in time for Christmas.

Are you looking to hire a venue for your club?

The Lara Lake Primary School gymnasium is hired out most evenings to a local club however Saturday and Sunday are still available if there are any other clubs that might like to have access to a large hall with wooden basketball flooring, only suitable for runners / sneakers.  For all enquiries please contact the Business Manager, Kerry Hanrahan Ph. 52821261. All hirers need to have Public Liability insurance and sign a Lara Lake PS Hire Agreement. Charges for hall hire are as per the charge schedule, which will be made available upon expression of interest.

The school ‘squoval’ is also available for hire after school hours or during the weekend and/or school holidays. Again, there is a requirement for Public Liability insurance.
