Premier’s Active April encourages all Victorians to do 30 minutes of physical activity a day during April. It’s free, it’s fun and it’s part of the Victorian Government’s commitment to get more people active and healthy.
The Student Attitudes to School Survey occurs each year for all students in Victorian Government schools. The survey is conducted in Term 2 with students from Years 4 to 12.
The survey captures students’ attitudes and experiences at school and is aligned with the Department’s Framework for Improving Student Outcomes (FISO). The survey measures are based on the best available evidence about what influences student outcomes.
The 2018 survey will be conducted online for all students in Years 4 to 12 and is administered from a secure online portal. It is anonymous.
Our school uses this data to inform how our students are engaging at school and put measures in place to make school a better experience for them. For example, this year’s School Captains will be working with the Principal to come up with responses to areas identified through this and last years’ results. More information to follow.
A reminder that hats need to be worn from September 1st until the end of April 30th.
Due to potential allergic reactions, if the children wear sunscreen, it needs to be applied before school and for re-application students are required to carry their own sunscreen.
